This artisan hide comes from a Gotland sheep raised naturally on Squash Blossom Farm. The hide was tanned using an all natural process (no harsh chemicals or off-gassing) by Driftless Tannery in Argyle Wisconsin.

Wool side is silky and cozy, and leather is soft and supple! Hide dimensions are approximately 3.5’ long x 2.5’ wide. This is a unique solid black hide with medium/loose curls.

We do our best to accurately photograph these products, but actual color/texture will vary from what you see on your screen. Hides are hand-processed every step of the way, from butcher, to hide cleaning and preparation, to tanning. Some hides may have small holes and imperfections on the leather side, but no holes are visible from the front (wool) side.
